I grew up in Gunnedah and would ride along stock routes with friends, taking a backpack of food. As long as I was back before dark mum was happy.
I have been on the Committee of GRC in many different roles: 10 years as Secretary, previously have been Vice President, Publicity Officer and Promotions Officer.

How long have you owned your current horse: 7 years in family, I’ve been riding her about 4 years.
Best achievement to date: A Quilty buckle (endurance ride - 100miles) and riding elementary with another horse.
Over the years I have been a Pony Club Instructor, ridden with the NSW Lancers – Tentpegging, Escorts, Street Parades and Musical Rides, and competed in dressage to elementary level.
I was on the original committee for Clarence Valley Working Equitation Club, as well as being on the Committee at different times for Grafton Riding Club since 2006.
Discipline: No specific discipline.
Goals for 2021: to ride, learn and have fun, currently playing with liberty.
Tell us a bit about your horse: Ria has become a sweet mare. She has had a lot of health issues to battle which affected her outlook on life, and unwillingness due to pain to be a partner, finally overcoming these.
